In partnership with Marie Claire magazine and Polaroid, Liz Claiborne launched the "No More Tour", a national bus tour and film festival created to raise awareness of violence against women in local communities. The bus tour visited Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, and Los Angeles, CA during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. In each city, awareness-raising activities included campus events with live musical performances, screenings of winning films from the "Stop the Violence" student short film contest, and discussions about the issue with best-selling author and youth violence expert Rosalind Wiseman. Highlights of the college events, event photos, and an online pledge in support of refunding of the Violence Against Women Act were available on the tour's Web site, www.NoMoreTour.com.

Liz Claiborne continued its support for Lifetime Television's domestic violence awareness efforts, by designing a special tie and scarf for Congress and advocates to wear during Lifetime's "Stop the Violence Week in Washington". The company also supported Lifetime's "Times Square Project", a year-long campaign utilizing Times Square's electronic billboards to salute women and men working together to stop violence against women.

Continuing its annual fundraising efforts, the company also designed a limited-edition, baseball-style T-shirt bearing the campaign message "Love is Not Abuse". The T-shirt was sold on iVillage.com, and by calling Liz Claiborne's toll-free number. Profits from the sale of the T-shirts were donated to national domestic violence organizations.
