1997
Women's Work continued to focus on men by delivering an anti-abuse message through radio PSAs featuring high-profile male musicians from different genres of popular music—rap, hip hop, rock and country. The PSA campaign has since aired on more than 2,000 radio stations throughout the country. Additionally, the Company conducted a survey of women and men that examined the differences in the way the two genders view relationship abuse.
As in previous years, Liz Claiborne sponsored its annual Charity Shopping Day in October 1997 and created commemorative fundraising items, a T-shirt and a sterling silver link bracelet, featuring the campaign's logo, "Love is not abuse is not love."
