Liz Claiborne Inc. launched the Women's Work® program in October 1991 as a way to give something of value back to the people who have made the company a success over the years. The program started as a series of community-based, public art projects designed to heighten awareness of, and encourage positive social change on, issues of particular concern to women and their families.
